25 Games Leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium in May 2024

Sony has revealed the list of games leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium in May 2024 — its biggest catalog purge since the revamp. A total of 25 games will leave the service, six of which are various Final Fantasy titles. The games are set to leave PS Plus by mid May.

The following departures are confirmed for May thus far:

  • ELEX 
  • Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 
  • Minit 
  • Observation 
  • Final Fantasy IX 
  • Final Fantasy VII 
  • Final Fantasy VIII Remastered

There’s no guarantee that this is the final list of departures for May. Sony may add more games to the list (which appears on PS Store) nearer the time.

Earlier today, there was some confusion as players reported that all of Ubisoft+ games became inaccessible to them without a warning. That seems to have been a glitch either on Sony’s or Ubisoft’s end, which has now been resolved.

PS Plus Extra and Premium April 2024 catalog is available starting today.
